Some of the flutes that I make are tuned to a
non-traditional 432hz instead of the 440hz
norm that most instruments are tuned to.
These flutes are harmonic of 8hz (the low
threshold of the alpha brainwave). This tone
has the ability to synchronize the
hemispheres of the brain, and falls within
the resonance of the earth's rotation. Many
believe this frequency can have healing
effects on the body and aid with meditation.
